The blisters can be scaly, oozing, brownish or thick. In some cases, the blisters may merge with each other and appear to be many large blisters or lesions. Each case of eczema is different. Even patients that see their doctor about their eczema are sometimes worried that they look worse than they should. This tends to get them stressful. Most skin conditions, eczema included, can be affected by and become worse with stress. By showing the patient pictures of eczema, the patient can be assured that their symptoms are not unusual for this condition, thus making them feel more confident.
